Myofascial Release (MFR) is a manual therapy technique that works to release restrictions in the connective tissue system of the body. MFR works to restore motion by applying sustained gentle pressure into the myofascial system. Increased mobility of the fascial system leads to improved posture, body mechanics, flexibility, and strength to lead to general health and benefit for many conditions that involve tissue trauma, inflammation, or adhesions.
